We have two rescue terriers who love crawling through brambles, hedgerows and such areas.
I've given up count of the number of ID Tags we've lost off their collars with the last one being more expensive than the collar itself. I've goggled collars with name tags and the choice seems fairly limited.
So folks do you know of any shops in the north county Dublin area or indeed online that you can buy such collars for a small and small to medium sized dogs. Preferably with the capacity to engrave names and numbers along with info of them being chipped and neutered.

How about a comfy collar with the number embroidered on? My friend got these, they're great:

Try Swaggles. A small Irish business with lovely stuff. She embroiders the names/numbers on them.

Exact same problem here - I recently got these for my two - the local shoe repair shop fitted them for me - very happy with them

_ cannot post links so search for "Deeply engraved brass dog ID name plate, Fixes directly to collar" on Amazon

I got 'Double Thick Nylon and Leather CollarTags' from http://www.boomerangtags.com/ for our pair, notorious destroyers of collars and tags.
They've lasted 3 years at this stage, in perfect condition.

I can second the recommendation for boomerangtags. I bought a tag from them a year ago and there's not the slightest bit of wear showing on the engraving. Good products and they arrived quite quickly.

Thanks for the replies folks, just for anyone else who like me was wondering how these fit  when I saw the video I went "ohh"
They do say that they have tags for the snap lock type collars, but I think we'll invest in some nice leather belt type for them

And thanks to everyone who replied.

Try these. They are based in the states and alittle on the expensive side but they are great.

    Just an update

We ordered two tags from boomerangtags.com on the 9/2/14 and they arrived this morning the 17/2/14.
Both tags fitted their 1/2" collars and have 4 lines of script on them so enough for their names and both our mobile numbers and that both are CHIPped & NEUTured.
Cost for both came to $21.21 so approx €19 including postage.
