Hi im willing to travel to NI or uk. I will have to take out a bank loan as I have no medical insurance.
I have no clue how to even go about this, but at 50 and feeling 65 I dont think I have much choice.
I am on a waiting list, for forever it seems, and have all the other scans and relevant tests done.
I have really bad endometriosis, and my mother and 4 older sisters
had their wombs removed before they were 50.
They doc keeps giving me the pill, im sterlized, so this is just for bleeding, but im once again sick from work as im on week 6 of heaving bleeding.
And now im getting very tired and depressed.
    Thanks for reading.

Have you not asked the Consultant that you are seeing in the Public Clinic if he/she will operate on you on a private basis ? many people go this route and self pay. All the Private hospitals will be able to give you a quote, and bear in mind that you will be expected to pay up front before you are admitted.

Yep, you can ask the Public Consultant straight out - he/she will be well used to it, or if you prefer, you could find out where their private consulting rooms are and ring the private secretary and say your bit, the whole process will be alot easier than you think. Good luck.
