Mature Entry to Pharmacy UCC

I have been thinking about becoming a pharmacist:

First off I would go to Carlow IT and do Pharmacy Technician Level 6 NFQ. Get a job in a pharmacy.

Wait until I am 23, Apply Mature Entry to Pharmacy in UCC.

Finish degree, do Masters in RCSI.

I have some questions regarding the possibility of what I just said:

In Carlow IT the Level 6 course, would it be covered by free fees.
After doing the Carlow IT course, would the pharmacist course be covered by free fees.
    - is it such a think that I pick one or the other.
Being a Pharmacy Technician with a few years experience, do you think it is enough to get 1 out of the 12 places. With all other necessary requirements (Chemisitry etc.) Has anyone been in that situation before.

    I appreciate the relpy's. Thanks - DF
