I have a 2001 Toyota yaris. 1.0 cdx It seems to be running on only 3 cylinders..
Lookin for info on possible faults it maybe..
It drove 140 miles like this. And previous owner was driving like this too..
Slow to get moving in first gear but fine once its away.. Max speed roughly 70.. But it is just a 1.0 ltr

First guess would be coil pack.

    Read error codes.

It's one of the coils. I had the same problem on a yaris. Get it done or try it yourself. Have a look online on how to replace a coil. Good luck. Simple job.

I've tried that already... Have since been told timing is slightly off and needs to be adjusted..
Does anyone know how to do this ? Is it a relatively easy job.. ?

No the Emil is not on.. Car has covered over 1000 miles like this.. I taught it might of been coil packs but all have been checked
