Help: Shader Model 3.0

    i am trying to play farming simulator on my laptop but shader model 3.0 required or something like that comes up. the laptop is a few years old but i was wondering is there any way of updating the shader model or what does it mean??

    It's likely your laptop's graphics card (likely an Intel integrated) is too old/not powerful enough to run the 3D graphics of your simulator.

    Unfortunately there's nothing you can upgrade to fix that.
    The only option is to buy a new laptop/desktop with a graphics card.

    Try the latest graphics drivers just to be sure:

    It must be a very many few years old if its doesn't support SM3. Intel graphics have supported it since 2007 or so.

    Otherwise it's just a driver issue.
