    Hi.

I had to remove a small area of tiles and it took the plaster clean off. I'm left with an area 1ft wide x 8ft high on the wall and want to fill/re plaster. Is there any premixed product out there that will work? I think polybond did something to cover stippled ceilings. Would this work?

    Thanks

I've used pro-fin for jobs like that in the past. Very easy to sand back when dry too.

Thanks dd. is it a b&q Jobby?

Builder providers, but it will be a big tub, had one for years, countless filling/plastering projects done.

B & q used to do a plastering course for €15 or so, takes a couple of hours all materials included.

Mixed reviews on the Artex Easyfix Readymix on B&Q site mainly over very slow setting time.

You've to patch an area of 8sq ft = 0.75sq m. A 2.5l tub will fill 0.5 sq m at a depth of 5mm. Could work out to be very pricey.

Picked up a dry mix of poly filla (add water) plaster repair. Will give it a shot. I would really prefer to be chewing my own toe nails than doing this job
