New Regulations for Addiction Councelling course.

    Hi ,

    Would anyone know where I can find the proposed regulations for addiction Counceling course, and it's breakdown of hours, personal therapy etc.

    It's the same as the general, google psychological therapies forum.

    You will need four year level 8 degree, min 450 hours.

    Clinical supervision
    Personal counselling
    450 client hours for accreditation, additional 100 hours while in college.

    Thanks your always a great help. If a person was starting a accredited course in this sept, could they now begin their personal therapy hours with a therapist, and personal development hours. ?

    You would have to clear it with the college first, some places may not allow it otherwise
