    Was on the m6 today from galway. I don't know what was in the road but I kept having to wash the windows. Car was dirty in now time.

    Anyone else notice how dirty the m6 was today??

    Probably from all the grit being spread over the past few days. No rain to wash it away.

    Its called Salt.
    Good on chips with vinegar, on ferrous metals not so tasty.
    Useful to lower the freezing point of water so Ice doesn't form and your tyres retain some traction in freezing conditions.
