    eley olympics?
    gamebore velocity?
    fiocchi fblu?
    cheddite trap?
    RC 2?

    any suggestions?

    Also I would like to determine what shot size is better 7 or 8 in terms of range and spread what is that maximum yardage of a clay cartridge???
    Is it roughly 20-25yrds

    eley 7 1/2 are the cheapest and what i use for clays. i might try 9s and see what there like..

    For DTL distance can be 45-50m. Sporting clays depend on how sadistic the guy is who's setting up the lay out. You could have clays drifting out over your head above 30m or crossers screaming at knee height across you out at 20m.

    For informal clay busting Eley Olympics 28g 71/2 will do the biz.
    For different disciplines chose different chokes:

    DTL - 1/2 & 3/4 or tighter
    Sporting- 1/4 & 1/2 or more open
    Skeet - Skeet & Skeet or Cyl & Cyl

    But use the same cartridge
