Daevid Allen (GONG) has six months to live

    Just heard that Daevid Allen's cancer has come back after a series of operations and doctors have estimated that he has about six months left to live, Allen's decision to discontinue with his treatment means that soon we are going to be missing one of the hippy psychedelic greats. Sad news
    indeed.

    Lovely to see a massive outpouring of love for Daevid on FB today, a truly special human being and awesome musician. I was 7 years old when I first heard him and he's been with me ever since. Saw Gong in 95 and they we're outstanding. There's some seriouse flying teapots going on upstairs today :D
