We'll lads looking to buy a new scope for my .223, it will be for foxes and long range rabbits the scope I have on it now is very bad 3-9x40 tasco(poor I know)

    Should I go 4-16x50 or 6-24x50 ?

Anyone any knowledge on hawke endurance 30 sf 4-16x50 ?hawke seem to be improving
Or the minox German brand ?

Have about 400ish to spend but would love to have a bit of change left over for bullets if I can get away with it :P

I have a Bushnell 6-24x50mm with target turrets on both my 223 & 308 and find them very good.

IMO a 4-16x50 or 6-24x50 are the best to get. Always good to have plenty of zoom for when you need to get 'Out There'

There a nice Hawk sidewinder 30 4-16x56mm in the for sale section now that would be a good buy. http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2057368475
And you'll have cash over for ammo ;)

    I have the 6-24x56 on my 10/22.

Try out the Hawke endurance 30ir mine is the 3x10-56 model .I have had it for a few years and had it on 223 and now the 243-never had a problem with it.
