    Hello,

I'm looking to get a new PC in the coming weeks/months as my existing one is ancient and doesn't even support virtualisation. I'm working on getting Microsoft and Cisco certs over the next 12 months so getting a decent-spec computer that can run VM's nicely would be useful. Looking for something with a decent CPU and lots of RAM.

    1. What is your budget? €500

    2. What will be the main purpose of the computer? Home lab, need to be able to run multiple VM's for lab work.

    3. Do you need a copy of Windows? No

    4. Can you use any parts from an old computer? Yes
    - SSD
    - Monitors
    - Keyboard/mouse
    - Graphics card

    5. Do you need a monitor? No

5b. If no, what resolution is your current monitor and do you plan to upgrade in the near future? 1280x1024 - No plans to upgrade

    6. Do you need any of these peripherals? No peripherals required

    7. Are you willing to try overclocking? No

    8. How can you pay? Debit card or bank transfer

    9. When are you purchasing? Whenever, no major rush

    10. If you need help building it, where are you based? No help required

    Thanks.
