I am looking at a site, planning was granted almost 5 years ago. I am considering purchasing this site. I have been advised that I must apply for planning. We cannot use the old EPA results as they do not comply with the latest legislation. My question is do we have to dig three new holes or can we just clean up the existing holes that were never covered up and carry out the required tests on them.

    New holes

The existing holes would not give a true reading if open for five years.
