Anyone got a commuter for sale

    All,

A guy in work is looking to start cycling as we moved location into the city centre for work.

I'm just wondering has anyone got a commuter for sale to suit a lad of about 6'0 - 6'2 around the 300-500 mark. Flat handlebars are a must.

Not too worried about any parts that need replacing e.g. bottom bracket/cassettes/chain etc. Disk brakes would be a plus.

    Thanks in advance

I'm still trying to move this on - http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?p=93922100

My OH is 6'0 and I'm 6'4 so it'll definitely fit. Everything is working perfect.

Does he qualify for cycle to work tax break(PAYE Worker on high rate (to max tax break)). If so this is the best option as his €500 budget will get a new bike and accessories worth close to €1k

I have a Dahon Mu Uno that I have no real use for anymore. It's a single speed fold-up, without mudguards or panniers, so I'm not sure if this would suit, the handlebars are flat. It also needs a bot of 'attention', meaning perhaps a new chain and front brake.
