    Hey all,

Just a quick question, was looking at an NSR 125 earlier with 70,600km on the clocks.

    It's a derestricted 2001 JC22 (I think, foxeyes) version.

Should I steer well clear of it?

It has a problem where when revved when warm it will stay around 6k revvs for ages and i have to kill switch it.

Didn't purchase yet, just wondering these couple things before I go back.

    Thanks.

Personally, I wouldn't spend money on a bike that I had to work on, different strokes. If it was a simple fix why didn't the seller sort it already.

There's got to be a better bike within your budget out there.

Sounds to me like crankseals are gone, leading to a lean condition where the bike runs on.
It will seize if not fixed.

That's a lot of miles on a small engine.

The divil is stuck in those things on a good day. I'd stay away from it unless you're well used to strokers.
