Haha, certainly won't be another Don't Be - but definitely interesting that it is running again. The race it's running in looks garbage, so even with a 6lb penalty, Etaad could very well win again and while 3/1 isn't a great price, horse owes me nothing.

Maontri the other pick in the 9:05 at 14/1 - this one is down a stone since last time it won at Dundalk and has Colin Keane back on board (won on it 4 times). Interesting to see it using the hood again, even more interesting to see that this is being stepped up in trip given that it's a horse that tries to back all.

    Pabusar 10-1 ew 5.45
Very weak race and a perfect chance to finally get another win.

Dingo Bay looks a standout in the 220 Newcastle, is 4 out of 4 in deep ground and has won over course and distance. 3/1 too big to pass up.

Anyone backing West Wizard at odds on today needs their head examined imo.

Dundalk 7.05 moss nation looks thrown in at the weights.when she last ran against fairy foxglove she was giving her 9lbs and beat her 1l.tonight she gets 5lb of fairy foxglove.prairie rose may need the run so any sign of money will be significant.by exceed and excell why she ran on heavy and soft is beyond me but her current mark could be very handy.7.35 behind bars 9/1 will be a different horse tonight even if his head carriage is a little high(may be still green).I really like this horse.in the bumper I fancy Alan king's the unit .I know plenty who like this lads breeding.Newcastle 2.55 treliver manor 33/1 is way better than form indicates and a horse to follow after that decent run in killarney

FWIW, I was told to have a cut at Donohue's other one in the race Erelight

Had a cut on Tom Dooley 7.05 Dalk earlier and fairly happy to see the price plunge now.
Most certainly not one to trust but slight sign of encouragment LTO, good apprentice on board, good draw and looks to be very well handicapped.

    Agree took 20s last night.

Also like pencil hill in the first. Great record fresh n well handicapped 8/1 seems more than fair.

Fuming I didn't even spot Paul Townend's ride for Curtis today in England.

Saw he rode a few winners for her lately, any idea of his strike rate?

Raging, let myself get sucked into betting today and emptied my account, back day at the office in the office!

I think we saw a very nice horse at Bangor today in Beast of Burden. Curtis won the same race two years ago with O'Faolains Boy so we might just have seen the 2016 RSA winner. You heard it here first!

Incidentally Beast of Burden has been introduced at 16's for the Albert Bartlett but there is 50's available for Neptune and Curtis said in the paddock after the race that Townend had recommended dropping him back in trip so the 2m 5f race looks favourite.

Finally the Jonjo newcomer Hedley Lamarr might be worth looking out for at Aintree.

Piccolo express in the 7-45 might have an e-way squeak. Never gets beat too far and this is a weak race

1000 on Bishan Dedi returns 727 of free money .

    Evens now. Drifting
This small field will suit. Should win easily .

    HA
    Crap ride again.
A lot of people would have lost money on that again .

I was screaming at the tv last week for a bad ride, he done me again tonight the horse but i don't see what Donnacha done wrong tonight.

That ride looks suspect to me . Drift also looked suspect.
I expect it was layed a lot by connections.

Looked like an immitation of a jockey who was trying. He got beside Tennesse and eased enough to not win. Disguised well .
I keep rewinding it to review it. If only it was as honest as everyone would want us to believe.

  • Registered Users Posts: 35,814 ✭✭✭✭BorneTobyWilde

Looks like Tennesse found another gear, but what actually happened was Bishan was eased a tad once he pulled along side.
