Aldi cordless 24v hammer

    Aldi have a cordless 24v hammer drill for 50 euro. i cannot link it. Is on

    Would it be ok for occasional diy and driving screws into wood. Is hammer drill ok for wood?

    Problem with those is the expensive part of those type of tools is the battery, you can't put a good quality battery in that drill for €50. The result is often a battery that won't last very long especially if only used for occasionally.

    You don't use a hammer drill on wood but you should be able to switch the hammer function off.

    Not SDS so crap for any serious hammer action.
    Battery not Lithium Ion so more .....
    Battery 1500mAh or 1.5 Ah which is half what it needs to be so more....
