This looks like an action comedy thing. The Americans could easily come from the pen of John Le Carre. We'll have to wait and see.

    I liked the pilot.

The cast seems good and it's an interesting twist on the spy show.

A 1.1 18-49 rating, and less than 5 million total viewers. Dead on arrival.

Tonally this is all over the place, it feels like two shows melded together and they never quite gel. On one hand it's bright and breezy and you can easily imagine it coupled with Burn Notice. On the other it strives to be deep and adult and enjoys a little murder. All well and good but there's a real disconnect between the two that is jarring.
