Bridge section?

I've got a multi crown bridge that has become dislodged slightly, its shifted off the back tooth that it is anchored onto.

An X-ray shows that the anchor tooth is broken below the gum line and my dentist is recommending a bridge section and extraction.

I guess there's no other option really ?
