I saw this posted in another forum and it looks like really good fun.

You join a fantasy league (there are loads on Yahoo) and only draft absolute scrubs; like all fellas down in the 1000s. Your team will be unrecognisable to most and have no chance of starting.

When the waiver wire opens you see who you can get and make trades when a player gets hot.

Requires loads of in-season management and a nose for a trade or recognise a hot streak.

The idea is have no player you drafted by the end of the season so thats why you only draft no hopers.

So you start with a team where no one is even near the team? What's the goal? Not to finish last in whatever league you're in?

Basically, yes. See how well you can do starting off at the absolute bottom.

Chances are, you drop nearly all your players within the first few days of the waiver wire opening, which is the point.

You'll pick up some good undrafted players and you'll pick up the waiver wire drops of other teams.

With regard to the point of all this....its really aimed at the fantasy geek and a chance to really take gambles.

well if it was you an a few mates doing it you could all do it each in a different league with the same settings, then have a separate table between you based on each player's record in each league?

Yeah, exactly, you'd need to be in separate leagues :-)

it's a bit like a Chmapionship Manager type challenge! 'Get Rochdale into Europe"

People could post their updates as the weeks go by!
