Is there a simple way to do this for free? I have been googling and not getting anywhere. I keep getting taken to all these "free programs" but I dont trust them... maybe Im wrong Im not a computer person but they dont look like real programs have lots of suspicious adds everywhere and Im afraid to download a virus. Any help at all would be great.

Put the songs you want into itunes, Create a playlist of songs you want, right click the playlist and choose option burn to CD.

iTunes (by Apple) is free for PC (already installed on mac), download & install it, import the music into your iTunes library, make playlists with the songs you want on CD, then burn them to CD.

When you first install & open iTunes, you'll be shown a get started guide to guide you through the basic functions of the program.

Windows media player does it as well. Pop your cd in, drag the songs into the playlist window, click on the burn tab at the top, and click on burn audio cd.

I'd use Windows Media Player myself, as iTunes is a pain in the ass.

    How so?

    How so?

I've always found it to be slow, bloated, clunky and a resource hog. I've only ever used it on Windows though, maybe its better on actual Apple devices.

    Too true...

    What happens when installing iTunes,

    Quote from the article:
When you run the iTunes setup program, it unpacks six Windows Installer packages and a master setup program, which then installs nearly 300MB of program and support files, a kernel-mode CD/DVD-burning driver, multiple system services, and a bunch of browser plugins. It configures two "helper" programs to start automatically every time you start your PC, giving you no easy way to disable them. It installs a network service that many iTunes users don't need and that has been associated with security and reliability issues.

I have a lot of people coming to me to put music on their Ipods etc...
I've used this to have ITunes on the computer without impacting performance...
