Anyone have any experience with these?

Is there enough clearance to squeeze in a pair of 29" wheels with road tyres?

I'm looking for a cheap disc braked commuter bike because I don't want my road bike nicked from outside work, and these are bang on the money right now coming in at a shade over €300 after discount.

I got a carrera gryphon from one of the lads on here. Flat bar, cable disc braked commuter and I'm really impressed with it. A great bike.

We've a disc brake carrera gryphon that my better half uses as a commuter. It's a good runaround and fun to ride. You are welcome to have a go if you want boss.

Can you remember how to ride a bike with brakes?

Would you not just put a set of 26" road tyres on?
