How long is a length of string......

You have to phone your insurer. And you have to return the disk and certificate or you'll get nothing

    It depends.

If you are in the first year of insurance with the current company they will likely impose short term rates as well as a cancellation fee so the return will be significantly lower than you paid.

If you are with them at least 12 months and have been claims free then Id be surprised if they charged you any more than the 4 months you have been on cover and the cancellation fee.

Thanks for the replies. €533 all can be got back spot on Atlantic Dawn. Buisness Cat your right it was a first insurance and if had been on previously for a full year money due back would of been a bit more. Once again Thanks.
