Can't get a decent answer on this, so any help would be appreciated.

I want to swap a 60cm dish for an 80cm, which I plan to buy online tomorrow. Will the wall bracket that is up for the 60 do for the 80? Or do I need to get new mounting brackets as well as the new dish?

    Thanks

It depends on a number of different issues

*Is it a sky bracket? if so replace...for a more solid bar
*what angle does it need to point to the dish you require, as an 80cm will need more clearance from the wall etc.
    *Is bracket old and rusted??

Why do you need to change the dish to an 80cm? what are you pointed to?

Thanks for the reply, it's not a sky bracket, but after just checking the position and angle of the dish, I think you are right I will need more clearance from the wall.

The dish is pointed at 13 degs east, Hotbird. Having some issues with the HD channels from time to time.

Just wasn't using my head, thanks again
