Hi there! Just wondering if anyone can offer any advice please. I have a friend who is doing a German teaching qualification - he has an Honours Degree in English, German and Special Needs (Erst Staatsprufung fur das Lehramt fur Sonderpadagagik). He will be taking the 2. Staatsexamen (zweite Staatsprufung fur das Lehramt fur Sonderpadagagik) next year and is wondering if this will recognise him to teach German in Ireland?

He'd have to contact the Teaching Council and get his qualifications assessed by them.
