    Hi all,

Can anybody recommend a nice hotel in Rome that's central to all the touristy sights! My boyfriend and I are going and would love to stay someplace nice that isn't too expensive (80-100euro a day)

    Hope someone can help!

Rome is one of the top tourist cities in the World, so you mightn't get somewhere so 'nice' that's very central for just 80 to 100 a day, especially if you're travelling at peak times.
I paid €140 a night in the last place I stayed, but I wouldn't recommend it!
Hopefully someone has some good recommendations.

You should be able to find an apartment for that money. I never stay in hotels in Rome, they aren't worth the money.

Try friendlyrentals.com, rentalinrome.com,romeloft.com.. I'd suggest you to try stay at Piazza Navona/Pantheon/Campo de fiori

myself, the family, and various friends have stayed in the Morgana, close to everything, reasonable, lovely rooms, a bit small maybe, and lovely staff.

I'v stayed here http://torino.hotelinroma.com/. Right by the Termini rail station that you come into from the airport. Can be pricey but good value for where you are, Breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace with excellent views of Rome.

In Rome at the moment, over for the rugby, we are staying at the Hotel Floris, got a great rate of €200 for three nights B&B, not sure what the breakfast is like yet

We booked it well in advance, about 10 months, through booking.com it's about an 8min walk from Termini, 3mins from nearest metro, the rooms are basic but very clean, spacious, decent bathroom, comfortable bed & nice staff, so far so good, it's about 15mins walk from the Colosseum or you can get the metro or taxi close by

    We would stay here again

    Decent reviews on tripadvisor
