Hi guys I know these types of threads are a bit cliche, but I really need new music.. it feels like i've been listening to the same songs for the past two years! I have a wide range of bands that I'm into, but lately bands such as grizzly bear, the war on drugs, real estate and foals are my favourites, so please share some songs or band recommendations, thank you!!

That's an outrageously open question. I like all of those bands but I wouldn't really know what direction to send you in.

New Ariel Pink single with a heartbreaking video directed by Grant Singer. He's also directed the videos for Put your number...& picture me gone. It's just a beautiful, emotional piece of film making. He has a real knack for making freakishly odd & very moving music videos featuring lonely marginalized characters. Real emotion is not something you expect from a music video. Take a bow Grant. Excellent work. Great song as well of course....
