anyone else having PSN problems?

I'm having no response at all on the Sony forums >:(

for the last 3 weeks or so I'm not able to access the playstation store on ps3, it's saying the service is down for maintainance. A Google search says it's a known error, I've Un and reinstalled it countless times, done file restores, my time and date are correct (I can't update this via Internet as it's also bringing up an error)

Yesterday I went and got another ps3 because I thought it might be something wrong with mine, did a factory wipe on both and guess what, same errors on them both..

I only play online games recently and I have money in my store wallet which I added to use playstation plus, So the money is sitting locked in my account effectively, and aside from being an expensive dvd player the ps is basically useless to me..

Like I said Sony are no help and I'm really p!seed off! I'm at the stage of getting rid and switching to X box..

Anyone else having problems or have any tips?

I only have a PS4 and only had the odd issue connecting to PSN.

Is it only the playstation store you cant connect to?
Can you use the web browser to access google on the PS3?
What error do you get when trying to update time/date via internet?
In networks on the playstation can you test the connectivity? What results do you get?
have you a wired connection or Wireless?
If wired can you plug laptop into the same port and try to connect?
Have you tried this http://portforward.com/english/applications/port_forwarding/PlayStation_Network/

Anything in the logs on your router?

I actually just tried to install playstation home and I can't access that either,

I can use the Web no problem, I can get onto Netflix and YouTube, and I can sync trophies, so the problem seems to be with the store and home

When I try set the date/time via Internet it says "current date and time could not be obtained (8002A221)"

I'm using wireless via a three modem,, it's the only net access I have unfortunately..

No that doesn't work either..
