you could try https://healthwave.ie/ for generics. I use them and they save me about 40%. you could ask your pharmacy to get generics I think the more we ask for this and walk away without buying the more they should cop on. I would email healthwave anyway!

Any of these drugs that are available without prescription will be on the same basis as every other Over-The-Counter medicine; namely they are for short-term use only and the advice on the packaging states "If symptoms persist, consult your doctor"

EVERY medicine that is available both OTC and on prescription will work out ALOT more expensive if you use the OTC version continuously.

I am a long term user of Nexium or Zoton either one works

These have recently gone off prescription in Republic of Ireland but I find I am paying more now over the counter than I was when they were prescription

Nexium is 13.99 for 14 pills basically 1euro a pill crazy price does any know if these are available up north or in uk over counter and any idea of price

Just look at this price for the generic brand in germany

But Nexium has only just gone otc and I am on it long term as per consultants advise I was hoping to get it cheaper as it went otc mine does not work out a lot more expensive when you take into account the Doctors fee I suppose I was hoping it would be cheaper otc but not to be and I can only dream of the German Price

surely you can get a prescription from a GP? this would only be €20 if he has your file.

if it's a specialist and you are on long term I would just get a 6 month prescription when you do? if you only have to go back every year then he can post out another 6 month prescription during the year. surely you need to review long term meds at least yearly. At least that's what I do!
