A box for Lego

Hi folks. I have a seven year old son who is an avid collecter of Lego. He has already built sets that are age rated up to 14. But he takes more fun from building his own mad contraptions from previously built and disassembled sets. So what I really need is some sort of box or storage container for his Lego. I was considering some sort of compartmentalised tool box or fishing box but I just wanted to ask the knowledgeable folks here what they use to store their lego? Anything I should be looking at to help organise a rapidly growing collection. Links to stuff would be much appreciated.

There is a discussion on another Lego community I frequent about sorting methodology, link below. A lot of the discussion is probably overkill but I notice that many of the comments suggest containers for sorting pieces which might give you ideas.

Not perfect but we use a selection of Ikea trofast containers, mainly the smaller ones! http://www.ikea.com/ie/en/catalog/categories/series/19027/

We recently bought this in my house for my daughters rapidly growing collection, available in Argos.

Ended up getting something like those drawers. Good job. Had a great few hours with the son sorting it all into the different compartments
