Cassette Stove into standard opening

Coming to the end of a new build and off course we did'nt set out with plans of a cassette stove (studio 2) so we have a standard opening that is 700mm wide and 720mm high. Once the flooring is in the height is probably more at 800mm. The cassette stove is 440 high so I'd be left with 260mm which seems quiet low and this is before I put a granite hearth in place. Anyone done this ? If so, any pics that you might share?

The other option is to raise the chimney flu gatherer - anyone done this and what sort of work needs to be carried out? costs if anyone has done this and would'nt mind guiding us if its worth the cost?

    Thanks
