Ford 7710 steering

    Seal went on steering ram on ford 7710 tractor.Got new chrome and seal done,put it back on and filled with steering fluid but still no steering.I opened pipes on ram and the fluid is coming to ram.Anyone have any idea what the problem might be?thanks

    Did you purge the system of air?

    I thought when the fluid was coming to ram there was no air in system,how would i do that?

    Loosen a hydraulic pipe and have someone to turn the steering at same time. When air is bled from system tighten pipe and refill reservoir.

    turned out it was the ram hadn't been done right,had to bring it back today for them to redo it
