Are veneers worth it

I want to get 4 upper veneers and 4 lower crowns. Dentist quoted 3400. Is that a good price? I am worred they will fail early do they usually last long?

Price is reasonable, veneers and crown can last a very long time if done correctly in the correct patient.

I agree with Fitzgeme.
Need to be done correctly and on the correct patient.I know of a specialist who charges more for his veneers than his crowns. Well done , thought out veneers are harder than crowns in my opinion.
