I saw a lot more disturbing things on TV when I was their age.Are children today so mollycoddled and wrapped in cottonwool by their parents that theyre scared of their own shadows?

It's actually the opposite. Children today have access to everything.

When the Thriller video first came out, it was shown at midnight and aired with a content warning.

when i was 7 we watched a ghost/horror story in school (back in the 80's) now that scared the hell out of me for months

    Thriller is tame compared

Somewhat ironic considering the accusations that were levelled against MJ

I would have thought seeing lady gaga dressed in raw meat was a lot more traumatising but I suppose times and attitudes change.

They're in Year 3 so aged 7/8. School should have got parental consent to avoid this exact situation.

And they're from Hampshire, the address is: Berrywood Primary School in Hedge End (I'm a bear, from Hampstead Heath!) - so I think we can say that they're posh kids, they're probably very molly coddled. I would love any teacher who showed me Thriller, it was the business. Our summer project team showed us the documentary, "The making of Thriller" when we were all that age and up and we loved it, kept us quiet for two whole hours.

Got to hand it to him. Still striking fear into kids from beyond the grave.
