Good thyroid treatment in Galway?? Relocating?

I'm based in Sligo and, I mean treatment here is terrible.
There are a handful of GP's, most of which are not at all familiar with treating my condition (chronic fatigue, zero ability to concentrate, appetite loss, lethargy, insomnia, housebound, unemployed long term), a couple of which have refused to see me, based around the fact that my medical card is with another doctor.

I got a nurse to send away some tests about two weeks back and I still don't have results.

I'm looking down the psychological path also, and it's the same deal.
Limited availability with practitioners that don't seem to specialize in any particular kind of treatment, certainly not for my condition - basically not been able to find any answers here.

I'm thinking either Galway or Dublin, just getting a room, setting myself up with a good comprehensive GP where I can have ready access to testing and labwork (not be waiting 3 weeks for it to return), and specialists on the doorstep, again where I'm not on a 3 month waiting list.

I guess Galway would be cheaper for someone on disability benefit??
    Recommendations?
    Any particular area?

Can anyone pass along the names of recommended GP's??

As I said, my issue is chronic fatigue and insomnia, so I'm looking at thyroid at the moment, but I want to look down every available pathway cause years of my life have gone by with this untreated, and I need to get moving ASAP.

If your condition is thyroid-related (which you implied in your header, but according to the body of your message you haven't been diagnosed with it), then every GP in the country is very familiar with treating it.

If that is what you want then location isn't important. Medical card patients will have the same sort of wait wherever in the country they are and doctors cannot treat you (except in an emergency) unless you are registered with their practice.
