GSHP and no 'hot press'

I am looking to build a new house and use a GSHP system, with a horizontal collector.
Am I correct in saying that the new house won't require a traditional style 'hot press' which is normally used to air clothes etc...

With the new system, people tend to have a utility room and the heat pump system and 'water tank' are hidden away in a large cupboard, is this the norm?

modern hot water cylinders are ultra-insulated, so they do not throw out any heat. Some heat can be got from pipes entering and leaving the HWC but this is minimal. I have seen radiators installed in 'hot presses'

But yes, the traditional Hot Press is no more. Large homes now have dedicated mechanical and electrical rooms which can include:

    UFH manifolds
    Expansion vessels
    Heat pumps
    300-400 litre HW cylinders
    Solar collector controls
    Central Vacuum systems

    etc

You can still have a hotpress, the ufh manifold will create enough heat to help in drying/airing clothes, you don't need to house the tank there but you can.

That is were I have my "Hot Press". It doesn't get very hot but it a little hotter than the rest of the house when, thanks to the manifold.
