Me and my partner are moving to Calgary in the summer and are trying to work out the health insurance.

I thought i read somewhere that people moving to Alberta can make use of the Alberta health insurance to cover them, is this true? If so how would i go about applying?

    Thanks.

I am guessing that this couldnt be used as the travel insurance requirement for IEC? i.e. you couldnt have a printout of this saying that you are covered fro two years at immigration?
