So I think the revenue has made a mistake on this with me.
My Insurance is fully paid by employer.
For 2014 and 2015, I have medical ins relief at 1476 and a credit of 1476*20% which is listed at 295e.
    I thought the max was 1000*20% ?
Just wanted to get some opion before giving them a call myself.

    Thanks.

I think you will get a better answer from Revenue themselves rather than be depending on strangers on an internet forum.

Hence why I said I would call them later aswell, why did you bother with that post?

Are we not allowed ask general questions here?

You are correct, the limit is €1000 per adult and €500 per child.

However, Revenue does not know how many people are covered by your policy. The insurance companies have refused to tell Revenue, under the data protection acts and in any event don't have every members PPS number....

Revenue's solution is to request the amount eligible for tax relief from all employers, where employers pay medical insurance. The employers in many cases do not know or care who is covered by employee's policies, but they have the power to request the information (amount eligible for TRS) from their insurance provider. The employer must then enter the amount against each employee in the P35 return. Once Revenue receive this information they will compare it to the amount of relief given and adjust accordingly.

When is the money (including lost growth) Michael Noonan took in the Pension Levy going to be paid back?

Strange that they are so shy about asking individuals. :)
