My question is: Those that include if I was just claiming a few days a week while working part time?

I plan to keep working part time for the 15 hours a week that BTE allows.

You can apply once you have a cumulative total of 78 days paid and you are over 21 years. http://www.welfare.ie/en/Pages/353_Back-to-Education-Allowance.aspx You do not have an automatic entitlement. Since 2014 all applications are reviewed by a case officer and they decide if you can get btea. You current means will still apply to your claim.
