Naturalisation question

Hi. Hoping someone might be able to shed some light on this. My Fiance is Filipino and has been living here since 2002. She wanted to apply for naturalisation this year and I had assumed she had everything in order.
When we started to fill out the application I noticed there was a few days gaps in here Garda stamps. E.G when she should of applied on say Jan 12th 2012 she did not apply until Jan 26th 2012 hence the few days gaps in her stamps.
This has happened on 2 of her stamps going back to 2008 but the rest are fine.
Should we bother sending in the application or will it be refused? She does not want to lose the 178 euro fee that is non refundable.
    Any help greatly appreciated.

her best bet is to talk to her local immigration officer as I believe n some circumstances this can make a difference but if delay has reasonable explanation then should be ok

If she has letters from INIS confirming her residency without any gaps, than this will cover the periods when she didn't get stamps. The Supreme Court ruled in the Suleimon case in 2013 that those letters themselves are proof of residency.

Also, note that she only needs an unbroken period of residency for the twelve months before her application. It's sufficient that her periods of residency in the eight years before that add up to four years in total, whether or not they are continuous.

You could try inputting all her dates into the INIS residency calculator

    http://www.inis.gov.ie/en/INIS/Pages/Naturalisation_Residency_Calculator

As the previous poster said, as long as she has the overall residency duration, with the most recent 12 months continuous/unbroken, gaps in her permissions back in 2008 shouldn't affect the application

    Hi Guys,

I am new to this so was hoping if you could please advise. Any advise is much appreciated!

    Hope you are well.

I was hoping if you could please advise me on Naturalisation.

I will be in Ireland for one full year on Feb 16th. I am currently working in Ireland.

I have been in Ireland between Sept 2006 to April 2011. I do not have the full coverage in terms of Stamps on my passport. I have a gap of 5 months between 2008, but I was working on a GreenCard (awarded 6 months prior) at that time and 3 weeks in 2010 (covered by the same GreenCard).

Also, I was legally employed in Ireland during those years by way of Employment permit ('06-'08 - Stamp 1), GreenCard('08-'10 - Stamp 1) and Stamp 4 ('10-'11). There are no gaps in these. I have a letter from my employer’s HR confirming I was a full-time employee between 2006-2011 with the residing addresses in Ireland at that time. Note, I am currently back working in Ireland as well.

I am concerned about my eligibility as I like it here in Ireland and checking the Online Calculator, I have the 4 year residency ( and 1 full year in Feb '16), barring the gaps in my stamps mentioned above.

Please can you advise if I can/should apply in Feb '16? Anyone experienced this before?
