Tomcat not logging unhandled exceptions

    Hi,

I recently performed some software on my server (running Ubuntu 12.04LTS), and it seems that unhandled exceptions in an application of mine running Tomcat are no longer being printed.

If I use a try/catch clause and print the stack traces there, all good, but if the exception is thrown and not handled specifically there's no trace of it in the logs which is making it quite difficult to diagnose problems.

Deploying the application to my local server allows me to see all the errors so I think its a server related issue rather than something within the application.

logging.properties appears to be standard on the server.

Pulling my hair out on this one - would be great if one of you had a fix!

    Cheers
