Anyone out there who knows or owns a forested area and would allow me to hunt would be great. Will do pest control over said land if required. Or if you know how I would get permission to hunt in a forested area. Thank you any info would be appreciated

out of curiosity why do you specify a forested area?
A lot harder to find game in heavily forested areas!
    Maybe try the hunting section?

I know but there's always a chance to get something and it would make it harder and more challenging. I really like the idea of hunting in a forested area. Hence why next year will be gettin my deer licence hopefully

Hunters pay well to hunt in Coillte forests.

Without proper insurance and a good reference I wouldn't leave anyone near my land and even then it would want to be a very bad pest problem.

I've met some great people who hunt but a few toe rags have given hunters a bad name.

If it makes any difference I do have insurance and would be able to get references no problem. I'm a member of a gun club and have permission on many farmers land and everyone of them would speak good of me.
