    I think in Ireland theres a maximum number of coins a retailer etc has to take, not sure about the situation in Oz.

    In Australia there is a limit of $5 in small coins for legal tender purposes.

    Fair enough if you have a jar full of coins at home, be worth a try. But by actually going to the bank and getting all that change he is just portraying himself as a d1ck.
