    Hi

There are a few of us heading for a weekend boarding around Chamonix in early March. For some reason every hotel on Chamonix is booked out, and the others don't fancy chalets. Can anyone recommend a lively town or village in the area that would still allow us access to the ski area? We're considering Le Tours, but all of those villages around the main Chamonix ski areas just look like glorified car parks to me

Right under the Grand Monte, close to le Tour, and a couple of lively pubs, a great bakery and compact.

We found accommodation on airbnb, so it's off to Chamonix we go.

Hi ho, hi ho, it's off to Cha... (etc)

Am hoping for more of Chamonix than Les Arcs.

18 long days to go
