Youre clutch slave cylinder is most likely gone faulty but just hold off for youre mechanics diagnosis.

Is that part of the the clutch or a separate part

Part of the clutch as far as i can remember most likely need to replace clutch kit slave cylinder and duel mass flywheel.

Theres a small plastic clip on the clutch pedals of a lot of VAGs that break. It's where the clutch pedal meets the rod of the clutch master cylinder. If you have a torch and are a bit bendy, it's handy enough to check.

Happened to my Golf MK5 1.9 08 120k km. The diagnose was the clutch valve cylinder.

So the problem is the Clutch peddle cylinder ( a small cylinder down behind the clutch peddle ) Will be a lot cheaper than replacing the clutch !! Thanks for replying !!! 😊

My mechanic is not sure how to replace this part . The metal rod that connects to the back of the clutch peddle snapped (clutch cylinder ) Any advice appreciated !! Audi a4 b6 2002 tdi

Get a new mechanic hes the one looking at it jesus it only takes one phonecall to an audi dealer parts dept and find out is the rod available on its own or do you have to buy a complete master cylinder.

If its a master cylinder ring the local motor factors and price it then compare prices.
