Valentines Dinner Dilemna

Hi AH,
I currently have valentines dinner booked for both Fire Restaurant and Chapter One, thoughts on which to pick?

You're life is that awesome that you have bookings for two fantastic restaurants on Valentine's night, but you're spending Saturday night posting on AH? You haven't even got a girlfriend have you?

• Dash off to the loo, hop into waiting cab
• Meet next lucky lady and repeat process.
• Back to the first one, order starter. Claim you have to make a quick phonecall, and exit, stage right.
• I think you know where this is going.
• Overeat
• Vomit
• ???

Neither, rather than booking an overpriced under quality meal for a time when you'll have to give the table back, go out the day before instead and have a great night in on the day itself.

That's what I'm doing

He's gonna auction off a table in one of them to the rest of the boards.ie clients that have left it too late to book a table in as fancy a spot!

Well get on with it. Just decide. I don't know why you'd listen to eejits like us who wouldn't have thought of booking Chapter One for THAT night.

Don't really understand why you would book two to begin with. If you really wanted to go to one place and got a reservation then that should have been that. Its taken you 3 weeks sitting there with a booking for Chapter One to now decide if you even want to go there...

Spot on. I'd give my eye teeth to go to Chapter One. End of.

Here's a thought, ask your date which one they'd prefer to eato in and decide that way.

The missus asked me to book a table for Valentines Day, happy days, I didn't even know she played snooker.

Meh I've eaten in both and if I were your date, I'd be disappointed in both if you brought me there, because neither are to my taste. Wonderful as they are!

What restaurant does she like? Personally I'd hate Fire, I'd hate McDonalds, but I'd love a good middle-of-the-range steakhouse, and would be well impressed if a guy brought me there rather than the poshest most up-and-coming place.

Bring her somewhere she wants to go. If she's into fine wining and dining - ok - but there's a lot to be said for watching the waves on the seafront from the car, with a batch of salty and vinegary chips

On Valentine's night, I am the dinner!!!
