Do you ever watch that Irish TV caper on channel 191?
I believe it is what television should be like, not like this auld "local" RTE rubbish which pulls in yank imports and what not and don't even mention the pathetic UTV.

Apparently it's coming onto Saorview where it shall join 3e, UTV Ireland and RTE news now in the pointless channels category.

I saw it for the first time last night...
If I was abroad and lonely for the Old Isle then after 10 mins of this...
I'd be quite happy to stay well away.

Some good music on it, find myself jiving round the dresser in the kitchen when it's on.

It looks a bit low-budget and seems to be aimed at the 'Green Guinness Brigade' in the UK, but the 'County Matters' programmes can be quite good.

Good rural stuff. A rekindling of the Mart & Market days. 10/10

Rte news now is a handy channel, a good way to catch up on the headlines when you come in the door etc.
