Compensation rules

So here's how my semester 1 results went

    95
    80
    76
    36
    35
    22

My degree falls under the Bachelor of Science umbrella.

If I remember correctly, on orientation day in 2013 we were told the compensation bar is at 35% and we can pass 2 by compensation. I might be wrong memory is fuzzy on the subject!

However, if someone gets under 40% in 3 exams do they have to repeat all 3
    or
Pass 2 with compensation and only have to re-do 1?

It depends on the modules. Some allow for an average to be taken if the module is continued into Semester 2. Talk to the lecturers whose exams you failed. They'll be able to tell you.

35 and 36 are both E+ grades and are eligible for compensation. 22 is an F so you'll have to repeat it.

You can compensate to a maximum of 15 credits.
