    I'd go Febi Bilstein. :)

I'd get blueprint. Many motor factors stock them.

I wouldn't think the OP would be rallying a 1.4 Corolla hard enough for there to be any big difference. Go for cheap unless you have a good reason not to. IMHO.

What would rallying have to do with it though? Some of those cheaper ball joints are a false economy and don't last.

I'm half amazed that a ball joint has went in one of them. Not something I've ever seen before.

Well they are designed to be an item that wears out. Not so fast as brake pads maybe, but still.

The small man in china is making them all and getting rebranded elsewhere.

That's not really true for all ball joints, some probably are made in China but there are still plenty of European car parts being made in the EU.
Meyle parts are German, Blueprint are a packaging house, parts could be from anywhere but in fairness most seem to be OK .

I thought you were arguing with yourself there for a while.

Some of blueprints parts are genuine parts, just in a blueprint box and usually at a cheaper price than the one from the main dealer in the car makers box.

Small man in China is producing for them too.
At the Wulf Gaertner Autoparts AG Shanghai office a dedicated team of Chinese and German employees handle a wide array of business operations from quality control, purchasing and sales to warehouse management and logistics. Operational and organisational structures, workflow processes, test regulations and equipment used at the new office have been set up according to the rigorous requirements of the Hamburg head office. The large area comprising several thousand square-meters also accommodates a quality test laboratory and extensive warehouse facilities to store the comprehensive range of MEYLE quality-branded spares.

That doesn't say they are made in China more like a distribution hub.

I was a Motor Factor parts manager for 6 years & I'd advise you to steer clear of Quinton Hazell & FAI AutoParts brands, they are dirt.

Like a lot of others are saying you can't go wrong with Blueprint or Febi. To let you know Blueprint offer a 3 year warranty on their parts.
