    Hi

I was just wondering if you fail a subject do you get 0% or do you get the percentage of whatever you scored?

We are all lying in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars.

If you get 29%, then your record states 29%.

This is important in scenarios where you're average across all other subjects is good (e.g. >70%). The exam board *may* decide to let you pass the Year/degree despite failing one module.

They'll give you whatever you get. 35% allows you to compensate if your average is high enough, otherwise you have to repeat the exam.

In reality, if you get >30% there's still a slim chance compensation may be allowed. Youd have to do well in the other exams.

Ya from what I hear is that if you get 35-39% i.e a fail, but you pass all your other modules, you can pass by compensation.

Also to answer your question half Rhodesian, no you don't get any percentage, you just get 0, which is unfair I know :P
